Peek a Bay View Cottage is a comfortable, cozy home consisting of the “Peek a boo Cottage” with 2 bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, a den with a twin bed, and a full bathroom with a deep soak tub. The property also includes a detached art studio space that groups greater than two can request access to for an additional fee. The art studio includes a living space (with large smart tv), 3/4 bath with shower, wet bar, queen size bed and electric fire place. Please inquire during booking if your group would like access. (I only book one group at a time. No other groups will be at the property during your stay) The well-appointed yard includes a propane fire pit, and hot tub, positioned to enjoy views of the bay just a short walk down the street. A propane BBQ and patio area with a seating area perfect for enjoying the sounds of the nearby harbor. You will forget all your day-to-day worries as you become part of the charming community during your stay. It is the perfect spot to share a romantic getaway, or family vacation, or to treat yourself to an escape from the congested city, make it your home base to explore all to do in one of the most gorgeous areas in the world. The wild Sonoma coastline has so many beautiful spots to visit and explore including the charming towns of Freestone and Sebastopol just a short drive away. The home is close enough to walk to some wonderful restaurants, including Hog Island Oyster, Ginochio's Kitchen, Gourmet Au Bay, and The Tides Wharf and Restaurant. NEIGHBORHOOD / HOUSE RULES ✔ Do NOT Park in front of neighboring homes, on neighboring properties or on driveways ✔MAX of 2 vehicles (Parking is ONLY allowed in our driveway) ✔ Quiet Hours Daily 9PM-8AM (This is STRICTLY enforced) This is per Sonoma County for ALL vacation rentals and is NOT specific to our home. ✔ No parties or gatherings are permitted (Sonoma County rule for all vacation homes) ✔ No amplified noise of any kind (Sonoma County rule for all vacation homes) ✔ A MAX of 4 guests are permitted at the property at all times (excluding children under 3 years of age) ✔ No loud music, fireworks, wood or solid fuel burning is permitted outside (Sonoma County rule for all vacation homes) ✔ No commercial photography, videography, or illegal business conducted allowed on or around the premise ✔ No candles or open flame is allowed inside the home of the detached artist studio ✔ No RVs, Boats, or Trailers ✔ No electric vehicle charging allowed on premises ✔ NO smoking of any kind allowed on the premises or in the house or artist studio ✔ Guests MUST clean up after their pets ✔ Guests must rinse off all dirt/sand, lotions, soaps and oils before using the hot tub ✔ Guests must rinse off sand from beach outings before entering the home ✔ Guests must use hot pads and coasters on furniture ✔ Guests are responsible for reading and following the house manual and additional rules provided ✔Violation of these rules can lead to being asked to leave the property without a refund. ✔ Guests are responsible for reading and following the house manual and additional rules provided after booking ✔ Our doggie guests must always be under control; MAX of 2 dogs. The cottage is in the Old Town Bodega Bay neighborhood and within walking distance to some wonderful restaurants. Hear sounds of the Bay just steps away. Enjoy the cozy cottage and our front deck. Sit in the hot tub and look out at the bay. Please note this is NOT a party house. The county of Sonoma enforces daily quiet hours of 9 pm-8 am for all vacation rentals. We ask our guests to abide by these hours and respect our neighbors and home.
